This PPT is for use alongside the Work related and Personal Finance Workbook (about 20 pages of activities to introduce pupils to the following • How to understand a basic pay slip • Understand the terms Income Tax, Pension, National Insurance • How to choose the correct bank account for your needs • The difference between credit and debit cards • The term ‘Interest’ • A range of banking services • How to draw up a simple financial budget • The dangers associated with debt • The ways people borrow money • DEBT This can be used without the workbook but some references are made to activity pages in it where pupils need to draw something or complete a task

A set of cards which can be laminated and used as an activity to talk about how a 'typical' relationship may progress. Can lead to discussions about what is appropriate when it comes to a relationship becoming sexual. Also useful for showing that there are many 'stages' in progression to sexual intercourse. I use this with Year 9 Pupils can be asked to rearrange into 'an appropriate order'; 'the wrong order'; 'an alternative order'; 'an order that would create many risks' etc Matches an activity in the Sex and Relationships workbook (available in this shop)

A 9-page work book with various actvities on the subject of bullying. Matching PPT

A 13-page workbook that enables pupils to investigate signs of grooming and sexual exploitation both online and in the real world. It also looks at characteristics that make some people more vulnerable to predators. We use it alongside the dramatisation of events in Rochdale, 'Three Girls'. Some activities can be completed independently but there is plenty scope for class discussion. I am North-East based so I have included information about Operation Sanctuary. There is also an assessment task and a vocabulary checklist.
